Keto Burrata, Avocado & Bacon Salad – Luxury in 10 Minutes

Keto Burrata, Avocado & Bacon Salad – Luxury in 10 Minutes

Do you ever crave something that looks like it’s straight from a fancy restaurant – but you want to eat it at home, in slippers, and have it ready in 10 minutes? Same here.

When that feeling hits, I don’t look up a recipe. I just build a plate from what I have. One day, I spotted burrata on discount at the store. I bought it out of curiosity and… fell in love.

That soft outer skin, creamy inside, milky richness – it needed something crispy, salty and fresh. And just like that, this salad became my go-to when I need a little pleasure on keto. It’s simple, gorgeous, and truly satisfying.

Ingredients (serves 2):

  • 1 large ball of burrata
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 4 slices of bacon, pan-fried until crispy
  • A handful of arugula
  • A few cherry tomatoes
  • 1–2 tbsp of pumpkin seeds or pecans
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Dressing:

  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • (Optional) Pinch of erythritol and garlic powder

Instructions:

  1. Fry the bacon in a dry pan until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towel.
  2. Slice the avocado and halve the cherry tomatoes.
  3. On a plate, layer the arugula, avocado, tomatoes, and burrata (whole or cut open).
  4. Whisk the dressing ingredients and drizzle over the salad.
  5. Sprinkle with seeds or nuts and top with the crispy bacon.

Why is this keto magic?

  • Burrata is rich in fat and protein – about 20g fat and only 1g carbs per 100g.
  • Avocado is full of healthy fats, potassium and fiber.
  • Bacon brings crunch and salt – classic keto comfort.
  • Arugula and tomatoes add freshness, color, and antioxidants.
  • Olive oil with lemon and mustard lifts the whole dish with acidity and depth.

This salad satisfies hunger, looks stunning, and lifts your mood – especially when you want “something more” without breaking keto.

Pozi’s Tips:

  • No burrata? Use fresh mozzarella and a splash of cream.
  • No bacon? Make parmesan crisps by baking shredded cheese for 7 minutes.
  • Festive twist? Add pomegranate seeds and a touch of sugar-free balsamic.

You’ll have something that looks gourmet, tastes like a dream, and still fits your keto goals – all in 10 minutes.
