Keto Chocolate Avocado Mousse – Quick, Creamy and Sugar-Free

Keto Chocolate Avocado Mousse – 4 Ingredients, 5 Minutes

I never thought avocado could turn into something so chocolatey that you’d forget all about sugar. This mousse is my go-to quick pleasure – thick, silky, full of healthy fats, completely sugar-free, and ready in minutes.

It’s perfect when you have a ripe avocado and no mood for cooking. And at the same time – it’s a dessert packed with nutrients that actually matter. No empty calories here.

🥄 Ingredients (2 servings):

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2–3 tablespoons coconut or almond milk (or water)
  • 1–2 tablespoons erythritol or other keto-friendly sweetener
  • (optional: a pinch of vanilla, a pinch of salt)

🔧 Instructions:

  1. Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a blender.
  2. Add cocoa, milk, and sweetener.
  3. Blend everything until smooth and creamy. Add more liquid only if needed.
  4. Taste and adjust the sweetness. A small pinch of salt can enhance the chocolate flavor!
  5. Serve right away or chill in the fridge – after an hour, it becomes even thicker and more chocolatey.

🧠 How not to mess it up:

  • Use ripe avocado – otherwise, the texture may be lumpy and the taste bitter.
  • Choose quality cocoa – the better it is, the less sweetener you’ll need.
  • Don’t add too much liquid – add one tablespoon at a time for the right consistency.
  • If you don’t like the taste of erythritol – use stevia drops or xylitol (keep away from pets!).

💡 Tips and Variations:

  • Add a spoonful of peanut butter for a creamier, more filling version.
  • Add a shot of espresso – it becomes a rich mocha mousse.
  • Top with chopped nuts, coconut flakes, or fresh raspberries.
